Crochet Shoe for Ken doll

 

I bought a second hand ken doll online, because i want to have a model for my mens clothing on my shop. This one is from Barbie Ken Doll Fashionista.

I bought it naked,i already sewed a clothes for him,but he doesn't have shoes to wear,

I just decided to make a crochet shoes for him, 

Inspired by Jordan shoes, i made tiny for Ken doll. 

      Materials

·         #8 mercerized cotton thread or lace weight yarn(your preffered color will do,I used red,blue & white)

·         1.50 mm hook

·         Foam sheet(serves as shoe sole)

·         yarn neeedle,scissor,

·         hard felt cloth red

·         fabric glue

Stitches/Abbreviations

·         1.50 mm hook

·         Foam sheet(serves as shoe sole)

·         yarn neeedle,scissor,

·         ch - chain

·         sl.st. - slip stitch

·         sc - single crochet

·         inc. - two single crochet on the same stitch

·         dec. - single crochet two together/sc2tog

·         [...] - repeat the instructions in brackets

·         (...) - indicate stitches count at the end of the round

Let's start for the sole, i traced kens foot

on a piece of cardboard,to make the pattern. 

Then i trace the pattern on a white  foamsheet

Then let's begin to crochet! 

LET'S GET STARTED!! 

Sole

Rd.ch13,2sc on the 2^nd ch from hook,3sc,5hdc,2dc,5dc on the last ch.2dc,5hdc,3sc.2sc on the last st.,sl.st.on the 1^st sc.(29)

Rd.2  Ch1,inc in 2 sts.10 sc,{inc.sc on the next}3x,10sc,inc on the last st.(35)

Rd.3  Ch1,Sc all around on the back loops only.(35)

Rd.4-5  Change color of yarn,and make another 2 rows of sc.,cut

Find the center of the sole and insert the hook on the front,working on the back loops only

Rd.1 From the center,count 1 st.backward insert red yarn,ch1 sc3 on the next 3 sts..turn(3)

Rd.2 Skip 1 st.sc on the next 2 sts.,get 2 sts on the body,turn(4)

Rd.3 Skip 1 st.sc on the next 3 sts.get 2 sts.on the body.turn(5)

Rd.4 Skip 2 sts.3sc ,add 2 sts on the body(5)

Rd.5-7 repeat Rd 4

Do not cut the yarn

TOUNGE

 

Rd 8-10 Ch1,5 sc, (5)

Rd 11 inc on the 1^st and last sts.turn(7)

Rd 12-15 sc in each sts.(7)

Rd 16 2sc,hdc,dc,hdc,2sc.cut(7)

Blue yarn

  insert hook on the 2nd to the last st. that we made on the toes part,as seen on the picture

Rd1 From the front loops,Ch1,sc on the same st.inc., 3sc on the next,inc.3x,

now working on both loops,sc on the rest of the sts.across,sl st on the 1^st st.(30)

Rd2 Ch1,sc on the same st.sc until you reach the otherside turn around.(24)

Rd3 skip 1,sc10,dec.,sc8,dec,turn around(20)

Rd4 ,skip 1, sc 17,dec.turn(19)

Rd5 ch1,skip 1,8sc,inc.,7sc,dec,turn(18)

Rd6-7 Ch1,sc on the same st.sc all around (18).cut and weave end

For the design,i made a pattern and cut, i used red hard felt cloth for this, and i stick it using glue fabric from the back of the shoe. 

Cut a yarn enough for the shoe lace and put it on.
