Crochet Brallete and Bikini for Barbie Dolls

I saw a lot of barbie clothes on web, especially on Pinterest and Youtube Tutorials, i was inspired by them to make my own barbie doll clothes pattern.

I am doll lover especially Barbies!and i love to dress them with crochet,

Also its a fun way of bonding with your little girls,

 

Materials

• #8 mercerized cotton thread(lace weight yarn)
• 1.25 mm hook
•  small rubber band
• yarn neeedle,scissor,

Stitches/Abbreviations

• ch - chain
• sl.st. - slip stitch
• sc - single crochet
• inc. - two single crochet on the same stitch
• dec. - single crochet two together/sc2tog
• [...] - repeat the instructions in brackets
• (...) - indicate stitches count at the end of the round

LET'S GET STARTED!!

BRALETTE - Make 2 caps

R1: ch 5,sc on the 2nd ch from hook,sc 2, 2 sc on the last ch.,ch 1, 2 sc on the same st., sc 3, ch 1,turn around(10)

R2: 5 sc, sc on the ch 1 space,ch 1,sc on the same space,5 sc,ch 1, turn around (12)

R3: sc 6, sc on the ch 1 space,ch 1, sc on the same space, 6 sc,ch 1, turn around (14)

R4: sc 7, sc on the ch 1 space,ch 1, sc on the same space, 7 sc,ch 1, turn around (16)

On the 2nd cap,don't cut the yarn, ch 41,sl.st. on the 2nd ch from hook and the rest of the chs.,(1st strap)

R5:  make 8 sc on the bottom part of the cap, attach the 2nd cap and make another 8 sc.,

Ch 41,sl.st. on the 2nd ch from hook and the rest of the chs.,(2nd strap)

R6: sc on the first st. [ch 3, skip 1 st. sl.st. on the next st.]

repeat [  ] 3 times. 

Ch 41,sl.st. on the 2nd ch from hook and the rest of the chs.,(3rd strap) sl. st on the same st.

R7: [ch 3, skip 1 st. sl.st. on the next st.]

repeat [  ] 3 times. sl.st on the 1st st of the 2nd cap

R8: [ch 3, skip 1 st. sl.st. on the next st.]

repeat [  ] 3 times.

Ch 41,sl.st. on the 2nd ch from hook and the rest of the chs.,(4th strap) sl. st on the same st.

R9: Repeat R8. cut and weave ends

BIKINI BOTTOM

R1: Ch 19,sc on the 2nd ch from hook,sc in all chs,turn around (18)

R2: Dec. 14sc,Dec,  turn around(16sc)

R3: Dec, 12 sc, dec, turn around (14)

R4-5: 14 sc, turn arond

R6: Dec, 10 scv dec, turn around (12)

R7-8: 12 sc,turn around 

R9: Dec, 8 sc,dec, turn around(10)

R10: Dec, 6sc, dec, turn around (8)

R11: Dec,4sc,dec,turn around(6)

R12-22: 6 sc,turn

R23: Inc, 4sc,inc, turn(8}

R24: 8sc,turn(8)

R25: Inc,6sc,inc, turn(10)

R26: 10sc,turn

R27: Inc,8sc,inc, turn,(12)

R28: ch1,make 18 sc on the side,

R29: ch 1,sl.st. on the first round on the previous row

R30: ch 1 and make another 18 sc

Now sc 12 along with the rubberband,

Make 8sc on the rubberband,join the bottom part and sc 18 along with the rubberband,8sc on the rubberband and sl,st.

Rd 31: Ch 5,attach it on the back part, 18 sc, ch 5,attach it on the front, sc 12,

Rd 32: sl.st on the 1st ch, sc 5 on the 5 ch space, 18 sc, 5 sc on the ch spaces, 12 sc, sl.st.
