Crochet Pants For Barbie

I love dressing up my dolls, especially Barbie! ☺️ 

Here is another written tutorial for you☺️

This can make in 2 styles, short or pants! 

Just follow the instructions below to make 1 for your dolls☺️

Materials

# 8 crochet cotton thread

2mm hook

Scissor

Yarn needle

Small button

Stitches and Abbreviations 

Sl.st - slip stitch

Sc - single crochet

Inc. - 2 sc on the same stitch

Dec. - sc2together

(**) - number of stitches 

[**] - repeat this column

Row 1

Ch 32, sc on the 2nd ch from hook, and sc all on the remaining chs. (31)

Row 2

Ch 1, Sc all stitches, but Inc 2 stitch, (33) 

Row 3-7

Ch1, increase again 2 in every stitches, do this until row 7,(35,37,39,41,43)

The total number of stitches will be 43 sc on the last row

Row 8

Ch 1, sc again and increase 1 stitch (44)

Row 9

Ch 1, Make another 44 sc

Now proceed on the crotch, 

by slip st.on the other side

Then ch 5,

Start from this chs, count 22 stitches,then slip stitch, 

Ch1, go back on the chs and make a slip st.on each chs

Ch 1,Then start to make sc on every sts. ,this time we will work on rounds. 

   You can put on any stitch marker on the 1st sc, so that you will know where to end and make sl. st.

 Round 10

Then continue making sc,along with the slip stitches,untill on the marker, you must have total of 27 sc

Round 11 - 14

Ch 1,turn around and make another 27 sc

Always put a stitch marker, if you're still confuse where to end the round

Round 15 - 17

Ch1, turn around and this time we will decrease on each round,(26,25,24)stitches on each round

  If you want to make short, 
you can stop here and do the other half of the legs by repeating row 10-17

Round 18

Ch 1, turn around, dec. 1 stitch, total of 23 sc

Round 19-21

Ch1, turn around and make another 23 sc(do not decrease)

Round 22

Ch1, turn around, dec. 1 stitch (22)

Round 23

Ch1, turn around, dec. (21)

Round 24

Sc all (21)

Round 25-26

Decrease each round with 1 stitch (20,19)

Note: Always turn around and ch1 when you finish a Row/Round

Round 27-28

(18,18)

Round 29-30

(17,16)

Round 31-46

(15)

Round 47,48,49

(14,13,12) Cut and weave ends

When finish, it should be look like this, picture below

Now work on the other legs, repeat round 10 up to round 49,

Now let's work on the upper line

Grab other color of yarn, and start on the back,make a slip stitches on the 2nd row, cut and weave ends. 

Note: Your tension should not be tight, or else, the waistline will be smaller, this might not fit your dolls waistline or hipline. 

For the button hook, final step

Grab the same color of the pants and make a slip knot, 

ch1 and make sc on the first st. 

Ch 5, sc on the next st, 

Sc on the next 16 stitches, across on the otherside, and sl.st, 

Leave a long tail and cut the yarn, 

Get your yarn needle and insert the yarn and sew the button, 

make sure that your needle is thin enough

 to cross on the holes of your button,

Weave all ends and we're done!! ☺️
