Crochet Converse Shoes for Barbie Dolls

  

This are soo cute!!, 

I bought a pre-loved curvy Barbie online, with no clothes! As in naked, i already made her an ootd but the problem is, nothing fit in her to all the available shoes i have,(because they are for petite dolls) so i decided to try to crochet a shoes for her, 

And voila!! I just made it!! 😍 I'm soo happy! It is perfectly fit for her, and not only that! It is also fit for petite barbie dolls! ☺️

Materials

• #8 mercerized cotton thread 
• 1.25 mm hook
• Foam sheets with adhesive, cut into shape of curvy barbie foot, (2 soles, 4 heels) 
• Scissor, yarn needle, stitch marker

Stitches/Abbreviations

• Ch- chain
• Sl.st.-slip stitch
• Sc- single crochet
• Hdc - half double crochet
• Inc.-2 single crochet in 1 stitch
• St. - stitch
• Sts. - stitches
• (..) - number of stitches count
• [..] - repeat 

NOTE: TENSION IS TIGHT

For the sole, make 2

R1: ch8, 2 sc on the 2nd ch from hook, 5 sc on the next 5 stitches, 3 sc on the last st., 5 sc back on the other side, 1 sc on the last st. Sl.st on the 1st sc, (16)

R2: ch1, inc.on the next 2 sts. 5sc on the next 5 sts, inc on the next 3 sts, 5 sc on the other side, inc.on the last st. Sl st on the 1st sc (22)

R3: ch1, working on the back loop only, sc on each of the sts. (22)

R4: ch1, working on both loops, sc on each sc sts., (22),

Cut and weave. 

(This is optional,you don't have to put sole if you're dolls feet is flat) 

I put first the sole and 1 heel before i begin the toe tip, because its hard to put the sole with adhesive when i do the toe tip first, because it covers half of the sole

Now working on the toe tip, find the center front of the sole, from the center, count 2 sts, backward on the right, and insert hook, on the back loop only. 

R1: ch1,from right to left, make 4 sc on the back loops only, turn 

R2: skip 1 st, 3 sc on the next 3 sts, add another 2 sc, on the side, turn

R3:,skip 2, 3sc,add 2 more sc, turn

R4: skip 2,3sc, add 2sc,turn,

R5: skip 2,3sc, 1sc,cut

Tongue

For regular shoes
4sc,turn, (5sc x 3 )cut (4 rows)

For the boots. 

4sc,turn,

5sc x8, 6sc x 2, 7sc, 2sc,3hdc,2sc (13 rows) 

Body

R1: sl.st, 13sc,sl.st ch1, turn

R2: skip1, 12sc,sl.st. Ch 1, turn

R3: skip1, 11sc,sl.st, ch1, turn

R4: skip1, 10sc,sl.st, ch1, turn

R5, 10sc

cut, and stop here for the regular shoes

For the boots, continue to the next round

R6-R10, [10sc] x 5

R11: inc 2 times, ch1, turn, (12)

R12: 12 sc, ch1, turn

R13: inc 2 times, ch1, turn (14)

R14: 14 sc, cut and weave ends
